Privacy policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This policy covers the website yourunclesam.com and "Uncle Sam YouTube Uploader", the private tool the Your Uncle Sam channel uses to publish its own videos.
Who uses the uploader
Only the owner of the Your Uncle Sam YouTube channel. The uploader is not offered to the public, and it connects to one Google account: the channel owner's.
What Google data it accesses, and why
- YouTube upload permission (
youtube.upload): to upload the channel's own finished videos and their thumbnails, titles and descriptions. - Read-only channel information (
youtube.readonly): only to confirm, before every upload, that the connected account is the Your Uncle Sam channel, so a video can never be uploaded to the wrong channel.
The uploader does not read, collect or store viewers' data, comments, subscribers, analytics, email, contacts or any other Google user data.
How the data is stored
The only thing stored is the OAuth refresh token that lets the uploader act for the channel owner. It is kept in a private, access-restricted configuration file on the channel owner's own server and computer, never shared with anyone, and never sold or used for advertising. The channel owner can revoke it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops all access.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The uploader's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It also follows the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
